for SELT Teaching English Service Learning Program

Schedule of Fees for summer 2015
All payments must be received in the total amount in US dollars

 
APPLICATION Deadline & Fees

Regular Enrollment is December 20 to February 20.
Late Enrollment begins February 27

Application Fee: $35 by Paypal
Late Application Fee: $45 by Paypal

Registration Fee $250 by check
       Payment of $266 by Paypal

Registration Fee must be submitted at time of application. This is not deposited unless Applicant is accepted into the program. Registration Fee is non-refundable. This Fee guarantees participation and enrollement on roster. This amount is an advance payment of the total tuition or participation fee.

Notification of Acceptance within 3-5 days of receipt of the Complete Application Package

⇒ Online Spanish Self-Assessment Form
⇒ Online Spanish Evaluation Form by 3rd Person
⇒ Online Letter of Recommendation Form (one required)
⇒Optional 2nd Online Letter of Recommendation
⇒ Transcripts sent by mail or as email attachment
⇒ Application Fee of $ 30 via Paypal
⇒ Registration Fee Deposit of $250 by personal or cashier's check mailed to OSEA. This non-refundable check is only deposited when Applicant has been accepted into the program

 
REGISTRATION FEE DEPOSIT:
Non-Refundable Registration Fee is an advance of tuition payment. It confirms student participation & provides the OSEA Guarantee of Enrollment on Program Roster

The Registration Fee (check) is not deposited unless applicant is accepted into the OSEA Program or Paypal payments are refunded

PAYMENT of Balance DUE ON MAY 4:

OSEA Tuition, Room, Board & Activities Fee

Balance: $2,250 Due on May 4

OSEA Participation with Homestay

Balance: $1,450 Due on May 4

OSEA Participation with Posada Lodging & Meals

Balance: $1,750 Due on May 4

OSEA accepts personal checks for the payment of the balance due. OSEA also encourages the use of PopMoney.com for the payment of the balance due. For amounts over $2000 this requires two payments made two sequential dayes. If you do not already have a verified PopMoney account you will need to set it up with a minimum seven (7) day advance of the due date of May 4

Paypal fees are too costly for payment amounts over $400 and are not accepted.


 
FEES for Late Payment

Re-Enrollment Fee: $75

 

Unless a prior payment schedule has been arranged, once a deadline for payment has passed a participant is automatically dropped from the program roster. This fee is charged to cover the costs of re-instating the enrollment of a participant. This fee and the full amount due must be paid in full via direct wire transfer to OSEA bank account.


In cases of lack of payment of balance, OSEA assumes that the applicant has chosen to cancel participation and forfeit their non-refundable Registration Fee.

If the lack of timely payment according to this official schedule is due to extraordinary and contingent circumstances related to the disbursement of grants or other emergency factors, waivers of Late Fees can be requested. Please contact OSEA Director Quetzil Castañeda, quetzil@osea-cite.org if such a siutation presents itself. Please keep OSEA informed on the timeline of your expected receipt of a grant upon which your participation is dependent. Thank you!


If you need a differed payment schedule due to disbursement of financial aid or grants, please contact Dr. Quetzil Castañeda quetzil@osea-cite.org to inquire about alternative payment plans. Payments scheduled past May 4 require a direct bank wire transfer or a direct bank-to-bank bill payment

Direct Wire Transfer Deposit is required for all Late Payments and for all Payments that are made after May 4.
