OSEA Intensive Maya Immersion Program is combines LANGUAGE IMMERSION in Maya speaking communities & families with intensive CLASSROOM based LEARNING that exceeds the minimum standards of the US Dept. Education for teaching Less Commonly Taught Languages (LCTL). The OSEA Maya program is not for the armchair learner.

OSEA Maya program is ideal for persons wanting to gain high levels of communicative proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Maya. This program is for those who want to speak Maya fluently as well as to conduct fieldwork in Maya.

APPLICATION Deadline & Fees

Regular Enrollment Deadline February 20 Application Fee: $35 by Paypal Make Payments Here via Paypal Late Enrollment Accepted, Feb 21 to May 15 Application Fee: $50 by Paypal Registration Fee Check Payment Amount is $250 Payments via Paypal is $265 Late Registration Fee must be paid by PayPal Registration Fee is non-refundable. The Registration Fee is OSEA's guarantee of enrollment on program roster. Notification of Acceptance into the Intensive Maya Immersion Program within 5 days of receipt of the Complete Application Package (all fees and forms) Payments made after May 4 require Bank E-Check, Bank Direct Wire, or Xoom.com

Applications are Accepted until Roster is filled. Enrollment is limited to 4 students per course level of Maya Complete Application consists of: ⇒ Online Application Form for Maya Immersion ⇒ Online Letter of Recommendation Form ⇒ Online FLAS Eligibility Form ⇒ Application Fee paid via Paypal ⇒ Non-refundable Registration Fee Registration Fee is only deposited when Applicant is accepted into the program. Checks are destroyed and if paid by Paypal a refund is issued is applicant is not accepted in OSEA program. The amount is an advance on tuition. Application Materials submitted within 10 days of Acceptance: ⇒ Unofficial Transcripts, sent as email attachment is preferred or by mail ⇒ Online Spanish Self-Assessment ⇒ Online Homestay Form
