OSEA’s Application Process

Currently OSEA runs three programs in the summer. Each of these has a different application deadline and a distinct application form with different questions to which you must respond. We encourage you to use the online application form, however we continue to accept completed hardcopy application forms that are mailed to OSEA. Please go to our Application website where you can find all the online and hardcopy forms.

The OSEA application process also requires you to submit additional materials and supporting documents. These forms have been converted to an online process as well. On your part of the application we will need the names of the persons submitting your proficency form, letter of recommendation, and FLAS form. You will need to contact them to ask them to submit their forms online. Alternatively, they can also download the hardcopy forms and submit these by mail.

Transcripts are required, but these need not originate directly from your university. You may photoduplicate or scan copy official transcripts that you have in your possession. You may submit application fee by paypal or by personal check. Please review OSEA payment options.

Applicants should read carefully the instructions for each program to ensure a timely review of materials. No application will be considered without submission of all the forms, letters of recommendation, supporting documents, and fees.

OSEA Direct Enrollment Plan
OSEA is an independent, non-degree school. You must apply and submit all materials and payments directly to OSEA. If you intend to make a payment to OSEA via a third party (such as a university or foundation in the form of a grant, scholarship, or other funding award) you need to verify in advance that they can make the payment to OSEA. Both situations can happen in which funding agencies require that payment be made directly to the student or, instead, other funders require payment be made only to the educational providor, which would be OSEA in this case. Double check these stipulations and ensure that your receipt of funding allows you to follow the OSEA schedule of fees and payments.

Application materials for OSEA programs are available on our website. Our PDF forms are designed with text fields for you to input your information directly into the document and then print the final copy. The electronic application must be filled out and submitted in one setting. Given this, we recommended that, regardless of which format you choose, you review the forms in advance to prepare your responses.
