Process
Each OSEA Program has a separate application process and set of materials that must be submitted. Please note that regardless of the program all materials are sent to the same address.

Checklist
Note: An application is considered received if the Main Application Form and Application Fee are received by the application deadline provided in the schedule of fees and deadlines. In other words, letters of recommendation, language evaluation, and transcripts can be added to the file after the deadline if the primary materials are received on time to avoid a late application fee. However, an application will not evaluated until the packet is complete.
Heritage Ethnography Field School: A complete Application Packet must include all of the following documents:
- Main Application Form
(online application) or hardcopy received by deadline
- One Letter of Recommendation
- Spanish Language Proficiency Form
- Copy of Transcripts (can be copies of official complete transcripts
that show coursework for college career), including statement of GPA
- Non-Refundable Application Processing Fee
Summer Intensive Maya Language Immersion Program: A complete Application Packet must include all of the following documents:
- Main Application Form
(online application)
- FLAS Eligibility Form
- One Letter of Recommendation
- Spanish Language Proficiency Form
- Copy of Transcripts (can be copies of official complete transcripts
that show coursework for college career), including statement of GPA
- Non-Refundable Application Processing Fee
SELT Teaching English Service Learning: A complete Application Packet must include all of the following documents:
- Main Application Form
(online application)
- One Letter of Recommendation
- Spanish Language Proficiency Form
- Copy of Transcripts (can be copies of official complete transcripts
that show coursework for college career), including statement of GPA
- Non-Refundable Application Processing Fee
Direct Payment to OSEA can be paid by the following
three options
1. Use the "send money" feature on your paypal account at www.paypal.com. This feature is ideal for the application fees only. Send fee amount to quetzil@osea-cite.org
2. Send a personal check, money order or cashier's check made payable to “OSEA”. Mail to:

3. Direct wire transfer (bank to bank) or electronic deposit can be arranged for an additional
fee of $15. Please contact the OSEA Director to confirm arrangements. This method is ideal for late payments due.
Please note that PayPal payment is not always available for programs
and is not recommended for payment of registration fee and tuition balance. If you choose to pay by paypal any charges other than the application fee, you will be charged an additional service fee of 3% of the amount due OSEA. If you select paypal as payment method you will need to calculate this additional fee amount and it to the amount of the payment. The 3% fee amount is significantly higher than the cost of a direct wire tansfer.
