OSEA Credit

Before their departure from the US, OSEA offers advice to students on how to ensure proper transfer of the college credits they will earn abroad. OSEA courses are accredited by the Facultad de Ciencias Antropológicas of the UAdY, or Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán, which provides each student with an official transcript. In addition, certain OSEA programs include a second transcript from an OSEA Partner University in the USA. This allows students to receive recognition at their home college or university for well-deserved credits.

Making the Process Easy
As part of the process of ensuring the transfer of your OSEA/UADY and Partner University credits, we ask you to identify on your application form an OSEA Liaison from your home University. In most cases, this person will be your advisor or other professor with whom you have an established relation as a student. By opening up a dialogue between OSEA, the student, the Liaison, and your home institution, any questions about the transfer of your credits can be easily addressed and resolved before departure.

Remember, OSEA’s advisors are always happy to advise on the proper transfer of the credits you will earn abroad.

Please contact OSEA for details.
