OSEA Enrollment CHECKLIST

The OSEA Application Process requires submission of online forms and submission of transcripts via email attachment. Please complete all these forms including payment of the Application Fee within the deadline in order to receive a timely processing of your enrollment.

Please pay the Application Fee via Zelle or Venmo. Note that Venmo charges a percentage of amounts which is deducted from the payment. Please calculate this amount in your payment.

OSEA does not require an official transcript as these can add extra financial burden due to their institutional costs. Please send as an email attachment.

Online Applications
Please note that our online application system does not support "save and resume (later)". You must complete the entire application at one sitting. It is thus important to have an advance knowledge of the questions and kinds of information you will need to have prepared. Please click on top nav tab "Applications" to learn about the information you need to complete enrollment forms.

Submission of Materials

The submission of application materials is now completely online. Transcripts and Letters of Recommendation and Spanish Third Party Evaluation are now all submitted online. Please find links below or on Application tab

Main Online Application Form for Maya and Ethnography

Transcripts
Transcripts must be submitted by all applicants in all programs. If you are no longer a student please let us know by email to request a waiver of this requirement. Transcripts need not be official. Send as an attachment quetzil at osea-cite dot org.

Letters of Recommendation
OSEA requires one letter of recommendation for each of its programs. A second letter is optional and at the discretion of the applicant.

Spanish Self Assessment: Who Needs to Submit Them?
Applicants for every OSEA program is required to submit the Spanish Self-Assessment Spanish Form.

Spanish Evaluation Form: Who DOES NOT Need to Submit?
We ask Native or fluent Heritage speakers of Spanish to complete the form themselves. No need to have a third party make this evaluation.

Applicants for the Maya Immersion Program need not complete the Third Party Evaluation of their Spanish. Please complete only the Spanish Self-Assessment.
